It's finally my turn to enjoy the end of the exams.
Got to thank my sister, who somewhat accompany me throughout the night, although sometimes she can be super irritating. haha!
And goodbye my books and tables! I will see you in one and a half month time (: How I wish I dont get to see you anymore.
Today is my first day of holiday, it was a fruitful day with the company of Van, Babe tan and Stef (: We had a heritage tour around Little India then to Bugis.
First, huizhen brought us to one of the lil india shop to do our eyebrow threading. It's a nice experience. Both of us now have clean and defined eyebrows. It wasn't as painful as plucking the eyebrows. I am going to bring my mum there one day. As we haven't eaten our lunch we went to Tekka food centre to have our lunch. then went on the MUSTAFA. Along the way, we saw Thai sailors. Cool right? Sailors do exist. Because pirates still exists as well (: We explore the whole place and through huizhen's gd recommendations we bought 5 super cheap and quite gd quality foolscap pads. haha! At first we still thought of doing henna. But we didn't happen to see any shops providing the service. So instead we went to have MANGO LASSI- recommended by Stef. It's traditional india yogurt. Nice~ That wasn't the end of our heritage tour.
We went on to Bugis. We walked there although it was drizzling. That wasn't a bad choice cos on the way there we get to see many things. We went through this street where they sell the 2nd hand stuffs, then we walked through the small alleys that can get us to Bugis. On the way there, guess what we saw. We saw transexuals... We were damn shocked. Although Bugis is known to have them ard, I didn't see them before around that area. OMG. The 4 of us got a shock of our life. But our reaction cannot to be too big in case we get beaten up or smth. haha! It wasn't just one shophouse with them ard, there are more than that. And we conclude that it was not that they are not ard just that they stay along the small streets and not ard Bugis Junction and Bugis street where we normally go.
We proceed on to HAJI LANE cos huizhen hasn't been there before. The things sold there are very unique and the concept of their shops are awesome. Although the stuffs are lil expensive, I think some of them only have one piece each so I guess it's alright (: And I was so tempted to shop. AHH!! We went to quite a number of shops and took a lot of photos (as usual). Shall upload those interesting photos soon =] After that we went different ways cos we had our own programs. But we had alr planned our next heritage tour around Singapore-Chinatown.
As for me, I went Orchard Road with my parents. Thumbs up for the lightings.
Seems like everyone takes photos with the Christmas tree, so must I (:
The super large can of ice lemon tea which is about the same height as my sister.
